The Weekend In Verse

Spent Saturday night on a rooftop getting goofy, drinking and mumbling on verses.  In the stupor the comes with twilight I wrote down a couple of verses my friends said; Here goes-

The moment and they have moved
And I stand still at the mill
Feeling the thrill
Sherwin Lim

As I gaze upon my mandate
I frustrate
As I look upon the greats
I Suffocate
Sherwin Lim

Yesterday was never about today
Tomorrow’s just an incredible triumph
Sherwin Lim

Waiting for sunrise in my heart
Mooting for love in my hearth
I know not, not foresee
The wonders my heart to behold
Uma & Myself
