Missing You?

I thought I’d be fine
I’d leave and it will be all good.

I thought I was protecting you
I still think I did the right thing.

I still think you deserve better
I still think you deserve to be happy.

But now I miss you
I miss being able to talk to you.

I miss holding you
I miss you loving me.

I cant tell you to come back
Coz I know I will hurt you more

So this is how it will be
Too late to make amends

Oh how I lie & cheat
I was proud to be so good at it

Manipulating and teasing
Getting what I want at your expense

Maybe I don’t miss you
Maybe I miss the feeling of you.

So be warned my love
I am nothing but good for nothing.

If you are in any doubt
Just count the ‘I’s in these lines

But hey for what its worth
I miss you and your beautiful smile.
