It is So Amazing to be Alive

Every time I think I am done
The goddamn sun it shines

For I then see the light
I look around and I see life

It reminds me it ain’t so bad
I know shit could be worse

So now I wear a smile on my shoulder
Coz I know the sun shines on me

There is not time for self-pity
There is no time to mourn

But there is time to live
Just enough time to shine

Shine my brothers, shine my sisters
Show me your light, light up my life

Shine so bright for all to see
Lets shine so bright until we pass
